The ARC will be closed Monday, Feb. 26th and Feb. 27th for cleaning and maintenance.

The Clayton Family Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Campus is a 2.5 acre, 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art center that houses over 95 species of reptiles and amphibians. It serves as a leading conservation center with an internationally acclaimed team of herpetologists working to save some of the most endangered animals on Earth.

The ARC is an $18 million project that has created an unparalleled level of guest experience at Zoo Knoxville, with immersive educational elements focusing on core STEM concepts. It has also welcomed exciting new species such as Cuban crocodiles, a greenhouse that allows guests to enter and watch herpetologists at work, and outdoor wetlands that serve as an ecological study habitat where children can collect specimens and take them back to an Adventure Lab to study.
